1 Corinthians 13

Because of God’s love in me:

1. I am always very patient and kind. I remain firm and steadfast even when it is difficult.

2. I am never envious or boil over with jealousy.

3. I am not boastful or arrogant. I do not brag.

4. I am not rude, unmannerly or disrespectful. I do not act unbecomingly or inappropriately.

5. I am not arrogant or inflated with pride.

6. I do not insist on my own way, I am not self-seeking and don’t do things for others only when it can benefit me.

7. I am not easily provoked or overly sensitive or easily angered. I am not resentful. I do not count up and keep a record of wrongs that have been done to me.

8. I find no joy in unrighteousness, but I rejoice in the truth.

9. I never give up. I never lose faith. I am always hopeful, and my love for others endures through every circumstance and situation.
